Back in the day...
Papa Buck’s BBQ started out in 2007 as a mobile food truck in Twin City, Georgia. Later, we started selling BBQ to students at Georgia Southern University. After much success, we decided to open a restaurant in Metter, then one in Vidalia. Now, we continue to cook mouth-watering Smoked “Q” for our customers just like we did on our very first day.
Our business has grown, and we’ve added the Pigzilla Challange, but we keep tradition and taste consistent by using the secret family recipes of the one and only Papa Buck.

One Papa Buck’s just wasn’t enough, so we opened two to serve fresh “Q” to the people of Metter, Vidalia, and the surrounding areas.
